Augustine Kumah is a Ghanian PhD Student of the Centre of Excellence in Reproductive Health Innovation (CERHI), Department of Community Health, University of Benin, Nigeria.
Augustine is also a Youth Leader for Health on the Youth Leaders for Health Programme by Results UK, Hope for future Generation (HFFG) Ghana and WACI Health, advocating for increase funding and domestic resources, and a Strengthened Health Systems towards malaria elimination in Africa and globally

As a Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Advocate
He has trained 156 adolescents in hard to reach communities in Ghana to make reusable sanitary pads for themselves in an attempt to empower them to End Period Poverty.
